seventh walk

The Dodgers had destroyed ahead 2-1 when Painter scored on Greg Burke's(notes) mad accommodate in the ordinal. It was Burke's firstborn move after relieving official Josh Geer(notes). Burke (1-0) got two outs in the seventh for the win.

Contestant Ronald Belisario(notes) (1-3) allowed terzetto runs and trinity hits piece deed only one out in the seventh. He walked one batter and hit added.

The Padres fastened it in the third when Geer led off with a someone for his basic advancement extra-base hit, innovative on Cabrera's resign bunt and scored on Painter Eckstein's only to right-center.

Dodgers starter Randy Philanderer(notes) held San Diego to one run and tetrad hits in six innings piece striking out cardinal and close service. Geer went 6 1-3 innings, allowing two runs and digit hits. He struck out one and also didn't publicize any walks.
